When a child is born, it is perfect in every way.  It is innocent, pure and natural, not yet corrupted or polluted by the world. A newborn child has no fear, no judgement, no prejudice and no hate. It’s mind is open to infinite possibilities.

When a human is born, there are truly no limits on potential. Everyone is born with the gift of free will, providing the opportunity to become whatever you choose and to live how you choose. You are literally given the world.

Things change during the human life cycle which affect who we are and what we’re born with. Bodies change as they grow, as does the mind. Circumstances change. Attitudes change. Humans are drawn away from the purity they once had, replacing innocence with selfishness, greed and fear.

I call this life pollution.

Fear drives human life. Fear of failure at work or school, fear of how others perceive you or fear of the unknown are where our paths deviate in life. What will I do with my life? What will I be? Who am I? How I did I end up in my current circumstance?

Too much time is spent worrying about the future and dwelling upon the past, rather than living in the present. In short, we create our own problems.

When you worry about the past, you are worrying about something you cannot change, because it’s already happened. By fearing what the future holds, you are contemplating something that hasn’t happened, or may not happen.  By doing either of these things, you are wasting precious time.

Each moment that passes in your life is a moment you will never get back.

What’s done is done.

On the other side of things, the future is infinite. You have a clean slate to create whatever you desire. You have the potential to make the future whatever you want it to be. The past does not define, nor does the future.

You can be whoever you want to be.

You shouldn’t be worried about the future because of your past circumstances. You should be shaping it into what you want it to be. There is nothing stopping you from doing this. You should be doing everything you can to make things better than what they are right now, or what they were. You were given this gift early on and you still have it.

All humans are born with the gift of free will. You have the ability to shape life into whatever you want. You have been given the gift of infinite opportunities. Knowing there is unlimited potential, why is life is filled with so much discontent and misery?

The answer to this question is a critical part of human existence which often gets overlooked. We do things to ourselves. The purity of infinite possibility becomes polluted when toxic thoughts enter our life cycles. The words “I can’t” or “you can’t” dirty the purity of infinite possibility.

These words impose blocks in our minds, but just as we create these blocks ourselves, we can remove them.

It is possible to reverse the effects of life pollution.

It is possible to restore the pure and natural thoughts you were born with by surrounding yourself with positivity. The world may not be a perfect place, but that doesn’t mean you have to add to the pollution.

Life is what you make it. Take a minute to stop and really think about that phrase. Having a true understanding of what it means will improve your life dramatically.

Open your mind to new possibilities.

Most importantly, you need to accept the fact that you are capable of so much more than you ever could have imagined.  You are NOT predestined because of your past. The potential you were born with is still inside you and always will be.

You need to figure out who you are and what you contribute to the world. Use these gifts to live in the NOW. If you do good things today, this will negate the negativity of the past and it will in turn shape the future into something positive.

Be the change you want to see in the world.
